Hello to you all. My name is Linda Jackson, and I am a fellow traveler on the journey of dealing with chronic conditions in life. Just a bit about me....
I am certified as a holistic nutrition coach and know firsthand the challenges of what living with debilitating illnesses' is like. Over the last 10 years, I have been hit with many debilitating conditions. These have been: vestibular migraine, autonomic nervous system damage and dysfunction, traumatic brain injury, peripheral and small fiber neuropathy, convergence eye disorder from the TBI, cerebellum damage and dysfunction. I am still searching out more testing to rule out a few other causes. On the mental aspect I also deal with Complex PTSD and deal with some derealization issues, mainly from the migraine effect and overstimulation. On top of it all I have entered menopause which has literally enhanced ALL symptoms of each disorder. Gotta love hormones!!
Right after the brain injury I had agoraphobia for months and still work to overcome driving anxiety as the migraine is triggered by motion and bright lights. Working on computers has to be very limited and on very sunny days I still have issues, but I have found ways to work through them all. I have had many trials with gaslighting and lack of compassion from numerous doctors. I have finally found a good neurologist and unfortunately most western medicine treatments and also supplements have backfired or made me worse. Finding my voice amidst all the chaos was the catalyst that led me to go back to school and I continue to educate myself so that I am my biggest advocate. My biggest focus is on helping others overcome the physical, emotional, and spiritual toll that living with a chronic condition can bring with it. While I do address eating habits and such, I find that without the WHOLE person optimal health and wellness are hard to achieve. There are four dimensions of healing and those are physical. mental, emotional, and spiritual. Not all illnesses and conditions go away and managing all the aspects of life with a chronic condition can feel isolating and defeating at times. Utilizing certain tools and habits can make life much easier and bring joy back into one's life. This not only is about eating healthy and managing stress but about finding the passion to live again in a "NEW NORMAL".

I value making a difference in one's life and inspire to awaken the strength and resilience that is inherent inside each person. I use a compassionate and empathetic approach in my practice and treat each client as an individual. What works for one does not work for another and vice versa. My main vision is to help others find joy and purpose in their life despite chronic illness and conditions.

I am an imperfect person and do not wish to attain perfection. I have the same struggles as the clients I chose to work with, and I approach life with an intuitive spirit. After many years of trying nearly every modality, diet, supplements, and medicines with only slight improvement, and at times worsening of the conditions I deal with, I have found that utilizing mindfulness, law of attraction methods, limbic system retraining, gratefulness, and acceptance has made a huge if not a nearly total turnaround of how I view life. And to add on a positive note, there has been a lessening of all my symptoms and on how I view myself and my circumstances. I will not lie and say I am perfectly functioning and fully healed, that I have no bad days that can drag out the despair and sadness within me, and that I do not have flare ups and minor crashes time to time. I will admit though that I handle them with better now with grace and self-love. Self-acceptance and kindness toward myself have been a huge key to fulfilling my life with more passion and perseverance.

I am not here to tell you there are "no weeds in your garden" but I will help you find a way to mow them down when they crop up. I am not here to transform you myself but to offer guidance to allow the transformation to happen WITHIN YOU AND BY YOU. By embracing openness to new thinking and habits and detachment from old thinking and habits you allow yourself to blossom and bloom no matter your situation.
